M.Sc in Information Technology

M.Sc in Information Technology is a master level two years course. This program aims at producing software developers to meet the ever-changing requirements of the global IT industry and to manage the information by the use of computers and software. The programme provides opportunities for students to develop and demonstrate knowledge,understanding, skills and qualities. This program focus on the design of technological information systems, including computing systems, as solutions to business and research data and communication support needs. It includes instruction in the principles of computer hardware and software components, algorithms, databases, telecommunications, user tactics, application testing, and human interface design.

At the end of the programme, you will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the latest standards, thinking, terminology and practices in Computer Science. You will have confidence in your ability to evaluate the latest knowledge, IT issues and methodologies and apply this in practice to the analysis, design, programming and implementation of IT systems.

After completing the M. Sc. in Information Technology the students can go for the IT industries like Tata Consulting Services, Wipro, Infosys etc. They can also join in the field of Web Designing, PHP developing, and Trainee Software Testing. We are fortunate to have good contacts with a wide range of employers who regularly come to make recruitment presentations and often seek to recruit our students during the programme. Not all our students decide to follow a career in the IT industry, some students decide to apply their newly found skills within their existing careers, or move into research or teaching.

Eligibility:- The candidate must have graduation degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks.
