BPT :: BACHELOR OF PHYSIO-THERAPY

Bachelor of Physio-Therapy is a four and half years degree course conducted by HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttrakhand, and is duly approved by Government of Uttarakhand and Indian association of Physiotherapy.
The course is designed to meet the present day requirements of increasing problems in the old age, work stress and malfunctioning of structure or limbs due to an unfortunate event like an accident. Problems such as Arthritis, Spinal disorders. Skeletal pains, Muscular injuries, Physical fitness and other disorders regarding bones etc. are not treated medically, in-fact they require special treatment from a recognized Physiotherapist. The role of Physiotherapy is growing day by day in modern society and there is vast opportunity for the candidates in this field. Nearly all the private nursing homes and hospitals are on an urge to appoint a recognized Physiotherapist. There is heavy demand for Physiotherapist abroad too.
Physiotherapy involves the treatment with the aid of physical exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist, for which a person should be well trained in all the techniques and technology. The greatest aspect of this course is that a candidate after completing the training can establish its own physiotherapy clinic.
We at Uttranchal College of Technology and Biomedical Sciences are engaged in imparting this knowledge to the students with a practical overview of every concept involved.

ELIGIBILITY:- 10+2 (PCB) with minimum 50% marks.
