BMLT :: BACHELOR OF MEDICAL LAB TECHNOLOGY

Bachelor Of Medical Lab Technology is a three and half year Degree Course conducted by HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand and is duly approved by Government of Uttarakhand.

The role of medical lab technologist as well as medical microbiologist has grown up in modern society. The medical lab technologist can setup their own clinical laboratory under the supervision of the pathologists. A professional doctor requires a trained technician for his/her clinical laboratory to diagnose various diseases like Hepatitis, Cancer Markers, AIDS, Malarial parasites, Tuberculosis, Arthritis, etc.

Subject like Anatomy and Physiology, Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology (includes Parasitology and Serology), Histo-technology as well as lab management are studied in this course.

There is a vast opportunity for the fresh entrants in this field. Nearly all private nursing homes and hospitals are on an urge to appoint a recognized laboratory technologist. The demand of medical lab technology is continuously growing in foreign countries as well.
